I'm George Fitton, a lighting designer, programmer, and developer focused on creating immersive visual experiences.
I specialize in bringing creative concepts to life through precise programming, thoughtful design, and hands on technical work from festivals, touring shows and large scale venue installs to custom software tools that enhance lighting workflows.
My work blends artistic vision with modern technology, spanning timecode shows, venue wide lighting systems, and innovative digital projects like network management platforms and interactive lighting games. I’m passionate about pushing the boundaries of what light's can do.
Designed and programmed a full timecode based lighting show. I’ve worked with the band since 2021, completed their first tour in 2023, and have since become their dedicated lighting designer.
Through my work with dbnAudile, I'm heavily involved in installing the lighting systems for all three spaces Depot, Concourse, and Archive. I also have the opportunity to program and operate the lighting in Archive throughout the season.
ShowSwitch is a custom web-based app I’m developing to streamline the management of your lighting network. It connects Front of House to dimmers and racks, with live chat and alert features built in. The platform supports live monitoring of Art-Net and sACN with advanced filtering options. Integrate your Luminex devices for the full experience, including custom macros, port switching, profile switching, and more.
Integrating modern lighting with retro games, Retro-Net is a lighting software project that transforms fixtures into interactive experiences. Whether creating light trails or immersive environments, Retro-Net lets you turn pixels into playable games. Currently in development is a reimagined version of one of the most iconic games of all time... Pac-Man, rebuilt with a lighting-focused twist. Both 1D and 2D versions are in early development, with more information to be released soon on GitHub.
